Black Tuna, sometimes referred to as “Tuna Black,” is a hybrid cannabis strain from British Columbia that was developed by 5 Star Organic to provide patients with a strong dose of THC that is perfect for managing chronic pain. This mix of Lamb’s Bread and cannabis has become rather well-known in Canada due to its potent narcotic effect and clever marketing strategy, which included packed medications being marketed in sealed tuna cans. The blossoms of black tuna are aromatic, small, and coated with trichomes. Though the strain’s name derives from the Black Tuna Gang, who gained notoriety in the 1970s for importing Colombian marijuana into the country, Black Tuna doesn’t smell precisely like fish.
